Best season: summer. Summer brings the warmest, most reliable weather (daytime highs typically 65–80°F, nights 45–55°F) and the campground at 1,841 ft is lush and green with blueberry patches in full fruit — perfect for picking. Hiking, mountain biking, and abundant wildlife viewing are at their peak, and the small nine-site layout keeps the experience intimate (weekends fill quickly, but weekday stays are quiet). Expect more bugs in July and early August and check for fire restrictions during dry spells. Peak months: July, August, September, October Avoid: December, January, February, March
Summer best: blueberries fruit July–Aug; sites fill quickly on summer weekends.
Reservation tips, booking windows, and free cancellation alerts.
Blueberry Patch Campground offers a semi-primitive camping experience with essential amenities. The nine campsites provide fire pits, tent pads, picnic tables, and parking for up to two cars. Visitors appreciate the peaceful and rustic atmosphere, but note the lack of water facilities. "Each site has a cooking location, and a nice wooden picnic table" (Amy Young), while "trash/recycle disposal bins are at the entrance" (Ben Wilbur). The campground features two handicap-accessible vault toilets, though some users noted that these could use more frequent maintenance (P G).
