Fort Boggy State Park offers five primitive hike-in campsites. Campers must hike to these sites, with the maximum distance from the trailhead to a site being one mile. These sites accommodate up to eight people each and have no electricity or water. Amenities at each site include a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. There is no parking at the campsites; backpacking gear or a wagon is recommended. The nightly fee is $10 plus the daily entrance fee. Campers must pack out everything they bring in.

History
The 1,847-acre Fort Boggy State Park lies in Leon County. Eileen Crain Sullivan donated the land to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 1985 for a state park. The park opened in 2001. source
Natural features
The park has wooded, rolling hills; bottomland meadows; and wetlands. Wildlife includes white-tailed deer, raccoons, squirrels, foxes and beavers. A large portion of the park floods during wet periods. source
