Best Time to Camp at Ridge & Birch Campground

Summer transforms the park's expansive sandy beach into a swimmer's paradise, with shallow, warming waters perfect for families. As autumn arrives, the birch forest erupts in golden color while cooler temperatures thin the crowds—ideal for peaceful lakeside walks and wildlife watching. Winter reimagines the landscape entirely: groomed cross-country ski trails wind through snow-laden forests, and snowmobile routes carry adventurers across frozen expanses to the lakeshore.
