About St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park sits on 579 acres of bluffs and ravines above the St. Croix River, offering modern campground amenities (showers, flush toilets, electric/water/sewer hookups) from early May through mid-October. The park provides pull-through RV sites, electric tent sites, group sites, and rustic hike-in options. Washington County requires a vehicle permit for entry.

The campground includes pull-through RV sites (some with 50 amp and water), tent sites with electrical service (20–30 amp reported), group sites and rustic hike-in (primitive) sites.

Historical Significance

The park opened in 1996 on land purchased and developed in the 1940s by architect Thomas Ellerbe, later used as the Control Data Corporation employee park. It's the southernmost public park on the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.
