Best Time to Camp at Chase Point Campground

Late spring through summer brings warm, sunny days perfect for swimming and paddling, though you'll want to pack insect repellent during wet spells when mosquitoes emerge in force. Fall transforms the hardwoods into a blaze of gold and crimson—a spectacular but quieter season for hiking the park's trails. Contact the park office for current conditions and seasonal insect activity before your visit.
