Summer offers reliably warm, dry weather (daytime highs typically in the mid-60s to mid-80s °F / 18–29 °C, nights often cooling to the 40s–50s °F / 4–12 °C) and full access to Yaak Falls Campground (open first-come, first-served June 21–Sept 30). Trails, waterfall viewing, fishing and river swimming are at their peak and wildlife is very active along the Yaak River corridor, while mosquito pressure usually drops later in the season.
