Florida's gentle climate makes the Turkey Oak Loop a year-round destination, with each season bringing its own rewards. Spring and fall are particularly magical as the ravines fill with the songs of migrating warblers and colorful songbirds passing through on ancient flyways. Winter transforms Little Lake Johnson into a gathering place for ducks, coots, and other waterfowl, while summer invites you to cool off in the lake's refreshing waters. Pack for warm days and cooler evenings, and you'll find comfortable camping weather any month of the year.

Hot showers. Laundry. Big day use area. | I would suggest site 31 or 32. | The trails had a variety of beautiful scenic views. We caught bass at Little Lake Johnson near the swimming and picnic area.
