About Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park Loop Lake

Nestled among ancient longleaf pines, the Lakeview Loop at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park welcomes you with fully-equipped campsites perfect for tents, trailers, and RVs. Each of the 73 sites across three scenic loops comes ready with a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and fresh water, while select sites offer electrical hookups and nearby bathhouses feature hot showers for your comfort.
Gold Head has three developed campground loops (Sandhill, Turkey Oak, Lakeview) with 73 sites that accommodate tents, trailers and motorized campers; primitive campsites and primitive group campsites are also provided, and there are lakefront vacation cabins on site.
