Best Time to Camp at Koreshan State Park Loop North

Time your adventure for November through March, when Southwest Florida trades its humidity for picture-perfect days in the 70s—ideal for paddling the river and wandering the historic settlement without breaking a sweat. Summer visitors embrace a different rhythm: warm mornings on the water, afternoon thunderstorms that put on a show, and evenings that invite you to slow down and sync with subtropical life (just bring that bug spray and maybe a good book for the lazy afternoon hours).

Summer(Jun-Aug)
3.0 / 5

Shaded sites help, but Florida summer heat and humidity may reduce comfort.

Fall(Sep-Nov)
4.0 / 5

Mild fall climate and pleasant shaded setting likely make this a very good season.

Spring(Mar-May)
4.0 / 5

Spring warmth and lush greenery make it an appealing season.

Best
Winter(Dec-Feb)
4.0 / 5

Mild Florida winters plus shady, private sites suggest comfortable winter camping.
