Full hookups are off the table here: no electric, no water, no sewer connections. Bear country protocols apply year-round, and anyone rattled by active moose or brown bear in camp needs a different setup.

Summer is the prime season here. Daytime highs from mid-June through August typically reach the mid-50s to mid-60s°F, with cool nights. Long daylight hours give you time for paddling, fishing salmon and trout runs, and watching for moose in early morning or late evening. July sees the most visitors but remains moderate by Alaska standards. Winter buries the campground in snow. Spring is short.
Summer is prime season; long daylight, best temps (mid-50s to mid-60s°F) for activities.
There are 48 campsites, 16 day use parking sites, and a group picnic area (groups of over 12 people require reservations). Some campsites are available via online reservation.
