Picture yourself waking to the whisper of the Sandy River and the cathedral-like quiet of ancient forest—that's the magic waiting at Gales Forest Grove Natural Area. This primitive camping sanctuary delivers the pure Pacific Northwest experience: towering old-growth trees, pristine waterways, and blessed distance from civilization's hum.

Drive-up campsites (74 sites) and pull-through RV sites (12 sites, restricted to RVs/trailers). Four ADA-accessible sites and a separate Group Camp area are available.

Reservations are accepted one day to nine months in advance.
