Best Time to Camp at Puma Campground

The campground welcomes visitors year-round, with full amenities including water and showers available from April through October. Spring and fall offer the most comfortable conditions for hiking the park's trails and exploring the lake, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds making these shoulder seasons ideal for a peaceful retreat. Summer brings warm weather perfect for swimming and water sports, though you'll have plenty of company as this is peak season for lake lovers. Winter camping (November through March) provides a more rustic experience with limited facilities, perfect for those seeking solitude among the quiet, frost-touched woodlands.
