Just 20 miles west of Tulsa, Appalachia Bay Recreation Area transforms 400 acres of Keystone Lake shoreline into an outdoor enthusiast's playground. Whether you're launching your boat at dawn, setting up camp beneath towering oaks, or exploring the extensive off-road vehicle park, this year-round destination delivers the perfect blend of water recreation and backcountry adventure, complete with full-service amenities including electrical hookups, modern showers, and convenient lake access.

Natural Features and SceneryKeystone Lake stretches across nearly 26,000 surface acres, its 330 miles of winding shoreline creating countless hidden coves and fishing spots to discover. The landscape tells the story of Oklahoma's diverse ecosystems, where bottomland timber gives way to stands of post oak and blackjack oak, eventually opening into sweeping prairie fields. This rich tapestry of habitats brings the area alive with wildlife—white-tailed deer browse at the forest edge, squirrels chatter in the canopy above, and as seasons shift, the skies fill with migrating waterfowl while quail and dove take refuge in the grasslands.
