About Clover Springs Campground

Tucked into the western foothills of Rush Valley, Clover Springs Campground offers an authentic backcountry experience where the Oniqui Mountains meet the high desert. This intimate foothill retreat features first-come, first-served individual sites plus one reservable group area, perfect for those seeking solitude away from crowds. As a pack-in, pack-out facility bordering private ranchland, it's ideal for self-sufficient campers who respect the land and their neighbors.

Natural Features and SceneryThe campground nestles in a transitional zone where the rugged Oniqui Mountains slope down into Tooele County's sweeping valleys. Accessed via State Route 199, this foothill setting offers panoramic views across Rush Valley's vast expanse while providing the shelter and character of mountain terrain. The landscape here tells the story of Utah's Great Basin region—where sagebrush flats gradually give way to juniper-dotted slopes and rocky outcrops. With private lands adjacent to the campground, you'll experience the authentic rural character of western Utah, where public lands and working ranches exist side by side in a timeless Western tableau.
