Driving directionsThe park is located on the northeast end of Grindstone Island, facing Eel Bay and the Canadian Channel and can only be accessed by water. The best access is from Wellesley Island, just over the Thousand Islands Bridge, or from Grass Point State Park on Rte 12, 1 mile south of the Thousand Islands Bridge.
Road access is unavailable since Canoe Point State Park can only be reached by boat. Visitors must launch from Wellesley Island or Grass Point State Park Marina.
