Best Time to Camp at East Loop Campground

The campground stays open year-round, giving you a front-row seat to the high desert's changing moods across all four seasons. A heads up for winter and early spring visitors: campsite water hookups won't be available through March 14, 2026, though you can fill up at the dump station—just pack extra water containers. There's also a brief 2-3 hour water interruption planned for December 5. One quirk of camping in Arizona: the state doesn't follow Daylight Saving Time, so your sunrise coffee and sunset views stay on the same reliable schedule all year long.
